Queen Mathilde of Belgium recently led a high-level economic delegation on an official tour of Türkiye’s premier drone manufacturing facility, the Özdemir Bayraktar National Technology Center. Hosted by Baykar executives and top Turkish government officials, the group explored the advanced research and production lines behind the country’s globally recognized unmanned aerial vehicles. The royal visit, which included key Belgian ministers and regional leaders, was a central part of a broader economic mission to explore international technological collaboration. To conclude the tour, the Queen was briefed on the national drone fleet and presented with a scale model of the cutting-edge KIZILELMA combat aircraft.
