Top Iranian and Chinese Diplomats Meet in Beijing

Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi recently met with his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, in Beijing to discuss critical bilateral, regional, and international issues. According to Iran’s official IRNA news agency, Wang warned that ongoing instability in the Middle East is severely impacting global peace and development. The Chinese minister reaffirmed the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two nations. Emphasizing China’s role on the UN Security Council, Wang declared that Beijing is ready to “play a constructive role in resolving international disputes” and will strengthen cooperation with Tehran to protect its legitimate rights and interests.
