Indonesian rescue teams have entered their ninth day of searching for eight people who disappeared en route to the Anak Krakatau Islands. The group, which includes five journalists, two crew members, and a guide, vanished on September 7 while traveling by speedboat to cover a recent volcanic eruption. They went missing in the waters between the islands of Java and Sumatra, prompting a widespread search and rescue operation. Despite the extensive efforts spanning over a week, authorities have yet to find any trace of the missing individuals or their vessel.
