Trump Says Iran Wants Deal, Signals Possible Agreement

US President Donald Trump said Iran was interested in reaching an agreement, adding that a deal could be possible. Speaking at the reopening ceremony of the renovated Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in Washington, DC, Trump also addressed the November 3 midterm elections, calling them “the most important midterm elections of our lives.” Criticizing Democratic candidates, he urged voters to prevent what he described as extremist figures from coming to power. “We will either keep America strong or we will lose,” Trump said, declaring that the country was currently experiencing its “golden age.”
