April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day activities continue in Samsun city, Turkey. Within the part of the “Children’s City Samsun” event by Samsun Metropolitan Municipality, kite flying and painting event was organized in the city for kindergarten students. Kindergarten students aged between 5 and 7 years old first participate in the painting event. Afterwards, the children painted and flew their kites themselves.
“Today we have our kindergarten children paint kites. Burak Kurt will come later. We will bring Burak Kut together with our children. On April 23, together with the children’s council, we will walk our children to the Tobacco Pier. We will leave carnations for our children who lost their lives in the sea by making the 23 April declaration read there,” Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Art Center Responsible Didem Çelebi said in her statement.
