Woman from UK backs to health in Turkey

Fatma Kaya, who lives in London, England, went to an Istanbul hospital with the suspicion of having a cervical discal hernia. Kaya returned to England and applied to hospitals after doctors at the hospital suggested that the mass on her neck could be a glomus tumor. Kaya began her search after the doctors there informed her that she had a glomus tumor. Kaya decided to visit Van where is in eastern Turkey, as a result of positive negotiations with Prof. Dr. Halil Başel. Kaya recovered from a successful surgery at Lokman Hekim Van Hospital.

Making a statement on the subject, Lokman Hekim Van Hospital Cardiac Surgeon Prof. Dr. Halil Başel said, “When our patient came, we performed the tests and surgery. She is getting discharged on the fourth day today, hopefully.”

On the other hand, Fatma Kaya stated that she was very afraid of the discourse of the doctors in the hospitals she went to, and said, “My children have reached Mr. Başel, and they said he was a good doctor. British doctor in England told me they perform 7-8 surgery at most a year. In Turkey they perform at least 10 a month. So after letting him know about this, the doctor suggested me that I should go to Turkey. Now I feel good. Başel is a very good doctor. Those who have problems should see Mr. Başel. I am grateful for his work.”
