Explosions were heard 7 times in a row from the Russian Novofedorivka military airbase in Crimea. Sergey Aksyonov, the Russian-appointed Governor of Crimea, said in an online statement that the explosions were caused by Ukraine’s attacks. Smoke was seen rising from the military air base. The Russian Ministry of Defense has not yet received an official statement on the matter.

The Novofedorivka military base is used by warplanes and helicopters of the Russian Navy.
