The number of people killed in the floods has risen to 1,700, with 12,867 injured in Pakistan, according to National Disaster Management Agency (NDMA). Authorities stated that 632 of those killed were children, 340 were women, and 747 were from Sind province, 336 from Balochistan, 308 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, and 221 from Punjab province. More than 2 million of houses were destroyed, and over 1 million of animals have died in the floods.

The flood disaster is expected to cost Pakistan 40 billion dollars in damages.

At the NATO Summit in The Hague, Netherlands, allied leaders approved a final declaration pledging to allocate 5% of GDP to defense by 2035.
