An F-35B Lightning II fighter jet crashed and hit its nose while making a vertical landing at the US naval airbase in Fort Worth, Texas, USA. The pilot had ejected successfully from the plane, the jet’s manufacturer Lockheed Martin said, adding that it would investigate the incident.
It was the third accident involving an F-35 fighter jet in 2022.
