The Russian Ministry of Defense shared a video of a large Yars intercontinental ballistic missile being loaded in a silo. The missile was located in the Kozelsky military district in the Kaluga oblast, southwest of Moscow. With a range of 7,500 miles, the Yars ballistic missile is estimated to carry an atomic bomb 12 times more powerful than the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima in 1945.
Last February, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered an attack on Ukraine, prompting Western countries to respond with military and nuclear exercises near Russia’s borders.
