Approximately 15,000 citizens in the Israeli capital, Tel Aviv, protested Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government’s far-right policies and his attempt to “weaken the jurisdiction.” Demonstrators held such banners as “Time to overthrow the dictator”, “Government of shame”, “No democracy in invasion” in the Hamiba Square.
The Black Flag Movement, which supported the long-running protest campaign against Netanyahu that began after corruption scandals in recent years, said “It is every Israelis’ duty to join the struggle.” and called on citizens to take to the streets.
