Israeli warplanes targeted Hamas’ rocket facility in the Gaza Strip at night in response to rockets fired from Gaza towards Israel. The Israel Defense Forces stated that the attack will damage Hamas’ strengthening and armament. They also stated that Hamas is responsible for the security violations against Israel and will pay the price for it. Two rockets were fired from Gaza to Ashkelon, which were shot down by the Iron Dome air defense system.
Russian Presidential aide Nikolay Patrushev announced that President Vladimir Putin signed the draft strategy for the development of the Russian Navy through 2050.
Patrushev stated that the final draft was signed on May 30, following its preparation by the Ministry of Defense and revision by the Maritime Board. The strategy incorporates proposals from various federal institutions and organizations. The initiative was launched after a Kremlin meeting in July 2024.
