A Turkish man named Burak Yıldız, astonished those who saw him after he used a piece of ice sheet like a raft in the Çoruh River, which is passes through the city center of Bayburt, Turkey. While he took a stroll on the ice sheet in the river without minding the danger, Yıldız told that it was beautiful and exciting. Meanwhile, the adventurous youths in the city stated that also their fathers and grandfathers used to travel across the river on ice in this way in the past years. They told that they have been doing this journey, known locally as “ice ride”, from time to time since their childhood.

In a statement on social media, Pahlavi said, “The Islamic Republic has come to an end and is collapsing. What has begun is irreversible. The future is bright and together we will open a new page in history.”
Pahlavi assured citizens that a post-revolution transition plan is ready, stating, “Iran will not enter a period of instability or civil war. We have a transition plan for the 100 days after the fall of the regime.”
Addressing the Iranian military, police, and civil servants, he claimed to have received supportive messages and urged them not to defend a “decaying regime.” He added, “Do not sacrifice yourself for a regime whose fall is inevitable. You can save your life by standing by the people.”
