The final round of the Combat UAV Hunter Drone Competition, organized by BAYKAR under the TEKNOFEST umbrella, is officially underway at Siirt Airport. Out of 105 initial entrants, 16 elite teams comprising 163 local and international competitors have advanced to this ultimate stage. Ranging in age from 15 to 54, these diverse innovators are tasked with equipping their drones with advanced artificial intelligence, image processing, and autonomous decision-making capabilities. To claim victory, the teams must prove their cutting-edge systems’ technical proficiency through rigorous algorithm designs, simulation flights, and live field performances.
