The American scientist Mark Dickey who went down to the 1276 meters-deep Morca Cave in Türkiye for exploration with a group of 15 people on September 3 and got trapped due to stomach bleeding was successfully removed out of the cave. As a result of the rescue effort initiated by 196 personnel from 8 countries, Dickey was taken out of the cave in the early hours of the 9th day and brought to Mersin City Hospital.
American scientist Mark Dickey saluted the Turkish press media by “Hi” in Turkish and thanked the Turkish authorities for rescuing him.
