Annual Kew Orchid Festival in London

The Kew Orchid Festival is going to start at Kew Royal Botanical Gardens in London, where the unique flowers will be showcased in a glasshouse pond. A series of installations of monkeys, sea turtles and the native quetzal bird that is symbol of Costa Rica will take place during the event. Visitors will get to meet the artworks of Costa Rican artist Dino Urpí in the festival. The Costa Rica-themed festival at the Kew’s Gardens’ annual orchid festival will run from 5 February to 6 March.

Costa Rica was recently awarded with the inaugural ‘Protect and Restore Nature Earthshot Prize’, a country home to major orchid habitat.
