Antakya’s historical Uzun Çarşı, a prominent trade center in Hatay, suffered damage from earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş. Despite the destruction, approximately 250 traders reopened their shops, attracting citizens eager for Eid-al-Adha shopping. Some merchants acknowledged the ongoing economic effects of the earthquake but expressed gratitude for the improving business. While nostalgia for past holidays was felt, people remained hopeful for a return to normalcy. Visitors noted the increasing crowd at Uzun Çarşı compared to the aftermath of the earthquake.
