Protests against the attempts of Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s government to “weaken the judiciary” and his far-right policies continue across the country, including in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa, and Be’er Sheva.
In the demonstrations staged in Kaplan Street and Habima Square in Tel Aviv, the demonstrators chanted slogans with banners reading “We choose death over dictatorship” and “We will change the government, you are messing with the wrong generation.” The city’s main streets were closed to traffic after the protests.
