astronauts grow chili peppers on International Space Station displayed

Hot chili peppers grown as part of the Plant Habitat-04 experiment conducted on the International Space Station (ISS) and announced to be harvested recently were displayed. French astronaut Thomas Pesquet posted images of hot peppers grown in space on his ISS social media account.

Megan McArthur, one of the astronauts on the ISS, shared on social media earlier this week that they made the traditional Mexican dish “taco” with chili peppers at the station. McArthur, who also included photos of the tacos they made with peppers grown in space, stated that some of the peppers would be sent to Earth for examination.
