Atmospheric River Storm Kills Three in California

Three individuals lost their lives in California due to a tree collapse caused by an atmospheric river storm. The weather phenomenon led to severe storms and rainfall, resulting in floods and landslides across the state. A man in Carmichael, one individual in Boulder Creek, and an 82-year-old man in Yuba City succumbed to fatal injuries caused by falling trees. Additionally, in the upscale districts of Bel Air and Beverly Hills, streets were covered in mud, necessitating rescue efforts for stranded drivers. The Los Angeles Fire Department successfully conducted a rescue operation, capturing the events on amateur cameras, as they saved a man and his dog stranded in a river.
