An armed and bomb attack was carried out on a police station in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa around 03:00 local time, three days before the general elections. Police have stated that at least 10 officers were killed and six others were injured. The attackers, including snipers, managed to escape, and no group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.

Four people lost their lives in the attack on the election convoy of former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s party, the Pakistan Justice Movement (PTI), in Baluchistan province on January 30.
