Australia continues battling the forest fire in the Bega Valley region of New South Wales. According to the New South Wales Rural Fire Service, more than 5,000 hectares of land have burned so far, and three houses have become unusable.
New South Wales State Premier Chris Minns said that although it is early spring in the country, summer conditions have been experienced for days and firefighters in the region have had a “hellish 24 hours”.
