The Automechanika Fair, the world’s leading international trade fair for the automotive industry, opened its doors in Frankfurt, Germany, with 2,800 exhibitors from 70 countries displaying their products. Turkey is represented at the fair by 315 companies. More than 300 meetings and open sessions will be held at the fair on the problems encountered in licensed part production as a result of the Covid-19 epidemic, the growing shortage of skilled workers, the raw material problem caused by the war in Ukraine, the supply of spare parts, the change in automobile production, and the automobile’s future. At the fair, Italy ranked first and Turkey ranked second in the list of countries with the most companies from outside Germany that participated.
The fair is open to the public until September 17th.
