Azerbaijanis Protest Biased German Media in Berlin

A group of approximately 300 Azerbaijanis protested in Berlin, Germany, in front of the Brandenburg Gate. They were expressing their dissatisfaction with biased and anti-Azerbaijani news coverage by the German media. The protest, which received support from the Turkish community, began with a moment of silence for martyrs and the singing of the Azerbaijani national anthem. Participants called for an end to the spread of false and manipulative information against Azerbaijan in the German media, particularly since September 19 and the Karabakh conflict. Dr. Yaşar Musayev, the Chairman of the Coordination Council of German Azerbaijanis, stressed the importance of recognizing Azerbaijan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity in his statement.
