A group of women fell down from the balcony of a hotel in Chiang Mai, Thailand, as the floor collapsed while they were posing for a group photo. Thirteen of them were injured, two of them seriously. The police found out that the balcony section was not included in the zoning plan of the building and was built later, and took legal action against the hotel’s operator.
The group, which were healthcare workers working as volunteers in a nearby hospital, was at the hotel for a seminar.
