Berlin Protest Highlights Grief of Gaza Mothers on Mother’s Day

Around 50 women staged a protest in Berlin on Mother’s Day to show solidarity with Palestinian mothers in Gaza. Holding banners that read “There is no joy for Mother’s Day in Gaza” and baby dolls wrapped in bloody shrouds, demonstrators mourned the loss of mothers and children killed in Israeli attacks. Speakers urged an end to the violence, stressing that Palestinian mothers also deserve to celebrate the day in peace.
