During the earthquake in Cebrail District, Antakya, Şengül and her family were awakened by Maviş, who landed on her face after escaping its cage. With the bird’s warning, they managed to escape the collapsing building. Intriguingly, Maviş accompanies Şengül wherever she goes, acting as a constant companion for her and her family. Describing the incident, Şengül expressed gratitude to her bird, emphasizing its role in their survival. She affectionately refers to Maviş as her dearest and vows to care for it as long as it lives.
