A police officer was killed and 29 injured in a bomb attack on a police lodge of Mueang Narathiwat Police Station in Thailand’s Narathiwat province.
The incident is assumed to be a terrorist attack as the first examinations revealed that a suspicious person dressed as a policeman left the bomb-laden vehicle in the open parking lot in front of the lodging.
The area around the police residence was closed to civilian traffic in case of a second explosion.
The investigation into the explosion continues.
