Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is among the top 10 cities in the world with the highest air pollution, according to IQAir, a technology solution company against air pollution based in Switzerland. The pollution in the city, which ranks 7th in the air quality index, was measured at 161. The sky is covered with gray smoke due to air pollution in the city, and the visibility has decreased.
The city government had previously resorted to measures against air pollution, such as limiting the number of vehicles on the road and urging those with health problems to stay at home.
