Upon his visit to Portugal, Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva attended an important session at the Portuguese Parliament in Lisbon. Lula celebrated the Carnation Revolution, which ended the authoritarian regime of Estado Novo (New State) and was being commemorated for the 49th time.
