Citizens driving in the Çanakpınar area recorded the bears running across the snowy terrain, an unusual sight as brown bears typically begin hibernation in November or December. Following a heat wave in Istanbul, recent rainfall has failed to replenish the city’s dams, with the overall occupancy rate now at 49.96%.
