Thirty-eight people were killed and 87 injured as a result of a collision of two buses near the city of Kaffrine in Senegal. Senegalese President Macky Sall said he was very sorry for the accident and that three days of national mourning has been declared.
Prosecutor’s Office stated that the accident occurred as a tire of one of the passenger buses blew out, and the bus dived into the opposite lane, hitting the other passenger bus.
