A forest fire in the Kızılkeçili village of Çanakkale, Türkiye, has been successfully contained after burning for 52 hours, affecting eight villages, and destroying 2,500 hectares of land. The firefighting efforts involved 900 personnel, 9 aircraft, 22 helicopters, and numerous other resources. The fire has caused significant damage to local agriculture, with 141 producers affected, resulting in the loss of livestock, beehives, straw bales, and harvested wheat.
