Çeşme, Türkiye’s Popular Holiday Destination, Surger With Tourists During Eid al-Adha

Çeşme, one of the most famous districts for holiday spots in Izmir, Türkiye, has been swarmed by vacationers due to the Eid al-Adha holiday. The occupancy rate in hotels in the region has increased to 90 percent, and the population of the district, which had 50,000 residents, has exceeded 1 million. Ilica, the 3-kilometer long famous beach in the district, has almost completely filled up with holidaymakers who want to sunbathe despite the windy conditions.

“My vacation is going very well. This is my second time here. I love this place. I spent 3 months here last year. I love Türkiye very much. I have lived in Izmir for 12 years. It is crowded here. Happy holidays to you,” says Natalia Lomize, a foreign tourist.
