The Chicago River was dyed green ahead of St. Patrick’s Day celebrations on March 17 in Chicago, Illinois, USA. The river in the city center was turned green by dropping a special substance into the water from a boat that does not harm the environment.
The event, which had been postponed for two years due to the corona virus outbreak, drew a large crowd to the riverbank. Others preferred to travel by boat on the river.
