Children under the age of 15 attended a demonstration organized by the Van Palestine Support Platform for their Palestinian peers who are struggling to survive bombardment. Hundreds of children gathered in Beşyol Square and marched to the city square on Cumhuriyet Street with their families.
“We are children, and we have rights. We have the right to live in a warm and safe home. I don’t want to sleep among an unsafe pile of bricks. Palestinian Zeynep should live in a safe and warm house, too,” said one of the children after the march, calling for equality for his peers.
