colorful bread mosaic inducts into Guinness World Records in MExico

The 206.44 square meter mosaic painting made for the Day of the Dead, which is celebrated every year in the Mexican city of Zacatlan, located in the state of Puebla, has been inducted into the Guinness Book of Records. According to Guinness World Records, the painting has the distinction of being the largest mosaic painting made of bread in the world.

It was stated that 20,689 pieces of colored bread, each weighing 50 grams and measuring 10 centimeters in diameter, were used in the making of the painting, with bakers working day and night for two weeks to complete the process. The breads were also made entirely of natural ingredients, with natural dyes derived from coffee and flowers used for coloring.
