Death toll rose to 11 after tropical cyclone Shaheen hit Oman. A police official said that 3 people were still missing. The Sultan of Oman, Haitham bin Tariq, ordered the establishment of a committee of ministers to provide necessary assistance to the people whose homes and workplaces were damaged. The cyclone is reportedly downgraded as it moves inlands.
