The death toll from a Russian attack on a bus stop and passenger bus in the eastern Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk has climbed to 33, with 18 others injured. Condemning the deliberate targeting of civilians, Regional Governor Vadym Filashkin suspended local public transport, stating, “For them, a bus full of passengers is an attractive target precisely because they can kill as many people as possible with a single strike”. Meanwhile, a separate morning drone assault on the capital city of Kyiv left three people dead and 14 wounded.
