A demonstration in support of Gazans was held in Japan on March 30, Land Day, which is one of the symbols of Palestinian resistance. Hundreds of demonstrators called on Israel to stop the genocide in Gaza and demanded an immediate ceasefire.
On March 30, 1976, Israel seized thousands of acres of land of Palestinians in the Galilee region in northern Palestine, triggering Palestinians to stage large-scale protests. The protests ended with killing of 6 Palestinians and wounding of thousands of others by the Israeli forces.
