Dozens injured after multiple-vehicle collision in US state of Pennsylvania

A multiple-vehicle collision involving about 40 vehicles occurred on the Pennsylvania state section of the Interstate 81 interstate in the USA. According to initial reports, 20 people were injured in the accident.
John Blickley, Deputy Coordinator of the Schuylkill County Office of Emergency Management, said in a statement that the snowstorm reduced visibility and they emphasized that this was probably the cause of the accident. Approximately 20 people were taken to regional hospitals for treatment, according to Blickley, who added that emergency personnel from four different districts intervened in the accident.
