El Niño Heatwave Boosts Visits to Girlevik Waterfall in Türkiye

Expatriates and tourists are flocking to the breathtaking Girlevik Waterfall in Erzincan’s Çağlayan town to escape the El Niño-induced heat in Turkey. The waterfall, originating from the Munzur Mountain’s slopes, offers visitors unique beauty in each season and serves as a popular site for walking and picnicking. This natural beauty, formed by the convergence of nine springs, attracts a multitude of visitors from both local cities like Istanbul, Ankara, Antalya, and Izmir, as well as international tourists.
