Electronic Device Sparks Mid-Air Fire on Indian Flight

Panic briefly gripped passengers on an IndiGo flight from Delhi to Chennai when a traveler’s electronic device suddenly caught fire mid-air. The cabin crew quickly extinguished the flames, allowing the pilots to safely divert the aircraft to Hyderabad in line with emergency protocols. While initial reports suggest a portable charger sparked the blaze, authorities are still working to confirm the exact device responsible. The airline praised the crew’s rapid intervention to control the situation and quickly provided a replacement plane to transport the passengers to their final destination.
