A blast occurred at a munitions factory in the Bhandara district of the western Indian state of Maharashtra for unknown reasons, killing 8 people and injuring 7, according to Transport Minister Nitin Gadkar.
Before the death toll was announced by Gadkar, state authorities reported that at least 14 workers were trapped in the building, the roof of which had collapsed.
