A severe blast broke out yesterday evening at a gas station located near the al-Khurafi military facility in the northeast of Yemen’s capital, Sana’a. Houses in the vicinity were evacuated due to the fire that broke out after the explosion. Houthi forces closed the entrances, and civil defense teams were dispatched to the scene to extinguish the fire. The explosion broke out on a gas tank due to a fire triggered by a short circuit at the fuel station, according to the Houthis. No casualties or injuries were reported.
