family trapped in apartment fire jumped out of window

Five children and elderly women, trapped in a house fire in the US state of Indiana, jumped out of the window. The family was rescued by the police team waiting downstairs. As the flames engulfed the house, the people in the house decided to jump out of the window when the race against time started. While one of the boys was breaking the window, the police began to wait for them downstairs. It was seen that the people in the house jumped out of the window one by one. “There was a lot of fire at the top of the stairs, at the front door. So we had no way of getting into that apartment. Going out the window was the only option,” said one of the cops, Josh Nolan.
