A double-decker bus en route from Bangkok to Na Thawi crashed in Thap Sakae province, Thailand. The bus, carrying 3 officials and 46 passengers, lost control and collided violently with a roadside tree, nearly splitting in two. Emergency services rushed to the scene, confirming 14 fatalities. Rescue teams struggled to extract injured individuals trapped in the wreckage, eventually transporting them to nearby hospitals. Thailand’s Regional Police Chief, Weerapat Ketesa, reported that the surviving bus driver was found to be falling asleep. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
