Flamingos, who stopped in the shallow areas of Lake Arin in the Adilcevaz district of Bitlis while coming from Iran, created a postcard-like landscape.
“Dozens of bird species feed in this lake in the summer. They also migrate from here in the winter. One of these bird species is flamingos. Flamingos come from Iran and some come to Lake Van and some to Lake Arin. After raising their young, they migrate from here in November and go to Africa. Other bird species migrate when this lake freezes completely,” said a local.
