A fire broke out at the COEX Convention Center in Seoul’s upscale Gangnam district, triggering panic but causing no casualties.
The blaze began around 11:00 a.m. in a second-floor restaurant. Authorities dispatched 33 fire trucks and 121 personnel, who quickly evacuated the building and brought the fire under control within 30 minutes.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause.
