The rupture of one of the platform’s pieces during the fireworks display on the tower-shaped spinning platform of an amusement park in Zinacantepec, Mexico, injured a total of 5 people, two of them were children. A large number of medical teams were sent to the amusement park. Two children and an adult, aged 5 and 7, were taken to the hospital by ambulance with burns on their bodies as a result of the incident.

US President Donald Trump’s decision to raise tariffs on steel and aluminum imports from 25% to 50% has taken effect. Trump said the move aims to protect national security and counter low-priced foreign metals harming US industries.
The UK remains exempt, with its tariffs staying at 25%. The US is the world’s largest steel importer after the EU, sourcing mainly from Canada, Brazil, Mexico, and South Korea.
